Commissions

I create personalised pet portraits based on your photos, capturing their personality, expression, and uniqueness. They can be perfect for home décor and meaningful gifts.

Medium & Time:

I use Winsor and Newton acrylic paint with Winsor and Newton acrylic paper (300gsm canvas texture). The paints glide onto the canvas pad and maintains bold colours and stability for the painting. On average, each painting can take from 20 hours to 40 hours to complete. When asking for a commission this is something to bear in mind as this timeline can stretch from two weeks to four weeks.

Reference Photos:

Asking for the size of the painting is only the beginning, the real vision comes to life when you send photos of your loved ones. You can send a main photo for the painting and send additional ones for extra details. Ideally, the photos should be in focus and clear. If your main photo is a little blurry, additional photos can be incredibly helpful. You are always welcome to email and ask if you are unsure.

Example:

This a clear, beautiful photo of my clients dog Bobby. The painting on his right.

(please note - this was created in oil paints, I am limiting my portraits to acrylic paint as it is my most trusted medium)

Process:

A £50 deposit is required when starting the painting – this will only be asked for when I’m physically starting the painting (not during the ‘consultation process’). This is included in the overall price. When the initial sketch is complete and reference photos confirmed, I will send an invoice that I’m ready to start painting!

Prices:

The price of a commission can vary from one artwork to another. Size, details and timings matter. If you wish to pay in instalments rather than full price at once, that can be arranged!

Certificate of Authenticity:

Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This needs to always stay with your painting (e.g. in the back of the frame). In a world with growing AI, either stealing work, fabricating work, this certificate proves my work is hand-painted.

Postage and Packaging:

All paintings will be posted in a flat box, with extra cardboard, bubble wrap, and taped securely. They will come with their Certificate of Authenticity and a handwritten note from myself.

When sent, all packages will be tracked during shipping. They will be delivered by the Royal Mail Special Delivery Services.

Please note, for commissions, postage is £15. Prints, when going through the checkout, will be £5.
